Brain Function Assessment

Problems with brain function can be caused by many problems such as dementia, head injuries, concussion, stroke, brain tumor, alcohol consumption or drug sequelae, which can affect a person's emotions, behavior or cognitive functioning. The behavioral and emotional changes in brain damage can be assessed through neuropsychological assessment in the following domains: attention, language, memory, spatial abilities, executive functioning, motor perseverations and emotions, etc.  The purpose of brain function assessment is to screen and evaluate the neuropsychological problems associated with the central nervous system. The assessment results can be used as an early identification of serious problems in order to determine whether a more in-depth neurological and medical examination is needed, and to assist in the development of treatment plan for brain function recovery, especially in the area of cognitive functioning.
